Existing Data

Existing data has been pre-populated from SPUS and ORKTS databases. For details, please refer to Data Population in IRIS. To edit/update existing records, please refer to the user guide Managing Content – Activities.

Activity records of Invention Disclosures, Patent Filed, Licensing Agreements, Entrepreneurial Activity are imported from ORKTS databases and are not editable in IRIS. If you wish to edit or update the information, please contact ORKTS.

Visibiliy Control

You can control what content is shown on your Public Portal profile. There are two levels of visibility for displaying your records on the IRIS Public Portal: confidential and public. For details, please refer to the user guide Change Visibility.

Submission Workflow

After saving your changes, the record will be validated by the central administrators for data quality assurance. Once approved, the content set as “Public” with updated information will be made available on the Public Portal. As a result of these validation steps, please anticipate a slight delay (a few working days) before a record appears on the Public Portal.
