What kind of information are covered in Prizes/Honours?
The Prizes/Honours module is for IRIS users to record publication awards, awards/ prizes/ honours related to research. For Academic and Prestigious Fellowships, please refer to user guide Activity: Recognitions and Honorary Appointments.
Where does the existing “Prizes/Honours” list come from? Will the record be automatically updated in IRIS from now on?
The historical records are retrieved from SPUS as of 3 December 2024. Following the soft launch of the system in January 2025, you will need to input/update the records in IRIS manually.
What if I find missing or incorrect data in my “Prizes/Honours” records?
You can input/update records directly in IRIS. For details, please refer to the user guide Add Prizes.
How do I add my Prizes/Honours records in IRIS?

Do I need to input my prize and awards records in SPUS to generate my Activity Report for ASDR?
No. Please see SPUS Integration.
Can I select which records to display on the Public Portal?
Yes. You can control which content is publicly available by adjusting the visitibility setting. For more details, please refer to Content Visibility.
- For historical records, the default visibility for each activity type can be found here.
- For new records, you may select the preferred visibility before submission.
